moon in scorpio
we ascend
into our deep dark flowing waters
in tune, in tune
time of the subconscious
celebrate
rejoice,
the cycles again!

the energy is different here
in the midst of the forest
out of the pine and cedar grove
away from the field:
abandoned vine-covered house

white
with snow
grey sky
green brownblack forest
i sit quietly on a fallen tree
an intense pink hat
on my head

No More War

yearning...

i want to knit sweaters
when i retire
i want to ride my bike nowhere
and photograph nothing
read everything
and brew great beer
drink green tea
and do yoga on the beach
under the full moon
of course

Mater Connexion

today a woman i didn't know
recognized me
thought i was my Mom
praised her as a wonderful woman
all the kids thought of fondly
i felt so proud
and grateful for her kind words
she said it was my smile
and positive attitude
she said we resemble our mothers
as we grow
older
and that other people have said
the same
of her
